What happens on this tour?
The Sip, Sample & See is a unique blend of a city and food tour that introduces you to all things Bahamian.

You will sample the food & drinks, tour historic sites, and learn about our culture and customs. Movement to the different sites is done by comfortable motor coach, with moderate walking in and out of some locations. You’ll find this to be the best experience by those who want to have a taste of the real Bahamas.

How long is the tour?
The tour duration is 3.5- 4 hrs

How many persons are on the tour?
Our maximum group size is 12 persons. We like to keep it small, it lends to a more intimate feeling and we want everyone to be completely immersed in the tour.

If there a lot of walking on the tour ?
The walking distance on this tour is low –moderate. It may include stairs and inclines but never an entire street block.

Are persons in wheelchairs or walkers or allowed?
This mobile tour was designed for persons with persons may have difficulty walking in mind. If you or a member of your party is restricted to a wheelchair please contact us at 242-677-3831 or info@bahamastoursandtravel.com before you make your booking. Bear in mind that some stops are inaccessible by wheelchair.

Are strollers allowed?
Yes. Strollers are allowed. Please ensure that the stroller is fully collapsible and can fit into the back of the van.
Bear in mind that some stops are less accessible to strollers and you may have to carry the infant during these times

Where does the tour start/ end?
Details on the starting and ending point are given after the booking is received and paid. You will get all the details for tour in your confirmation e-mail.

What do I wear?
Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. During the summer months light clothing, T shirts and Shorts would be best, and during the winter months a light jacket is recommended

Are there bathroom facilities available?
Yes. Most of the stops are outfitted with bathrooms.

Can I make a group booking?
Yes you can. We have a program that can accommodate groups of 20 – 50 persons

Do I have to book in advance?
Yes, booking advance is a must. We take bookings up to 4 hrs before the start of the tour and can be done through the secure website. Walk ups and cash is not allowed.

If you are sold out is there a waiting list?
There is no waiting list, but if we are sold out, send an e-mail to info@bahamastoursandtravel.com and add details of your intended date of activity and the amount of persons. We will try our best to accommodate you. Please note that you request is not considered to be a guaranteed or automatic booking.

What is your cancellation policy?
The cancellation period is 48 hours before the scheduled activity date. Bookings will be refunded at 100% minus any administration fees from the credit card company. Please contact customerservice@bahamastoursandtravel.com for more details on cancellations.

Can I shop on the tour?
We prefer that you not shop during the tour, as we try our best to stay within our schedule time. However, we do provide free coupons for use at merchants that we recommend, and you are free to visit these merchants at your leisure.

What about bad weather?
The Sip Sample and See tour operates rain or shine.

You’re in The Bahamas there is no such thing as bad weather! …. Seriously, there are times when we experience a bit of liquid sunshine and for these times we recommend a light jacket, poncho or umbrella.

It would be best to always check the weather forecast before you set out for your tour, so you are dressed appropriately.

Are the tours available in other languages?
Tours are conducted in English, of course with our “Bahamian Dialect”
